Mission
The SCAH Foundation provides support for the programs and services of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, which preserves the public records and cultural history of the Palmetto State.
History
Since 1993, the Foundation has raised public awareness and donations for the agency’s mission. The Foundation’s most notable endeavor was its successful capital campaign to help fund the construction of the South Carolina Archives and History Center, the home of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History (SCDAH).
