Support the Foundation with Stock Donations

The South Carolina Archives and History Foundation can now accept donations of stock.  Stock donations may be advantageous for the donor.  The SCAHF receives the current value of the stock but the donor does not have to pay the capital gains tax on the difference between the purchase price and the value donated to SCAHF. Please consult your tax advisor for specifics. For more information, contact Donna Foster at 803-896-0339 or dfoster@scdah.sc.gov

The SCAH Foundation provides support for the programs and services of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, which preserves the public records and cultural history of the Palmetto State. Since 1993, the Foundation has raised public awareness and donations for the agency’s mission of preserving and promoting the documentary and cultural heritage of the Palmetto State. The department houses one of the most comprehensive state archival collections in the nation, spanning more than 325 years of South Carolina history.

Your support will help continue these efforts to preserve our history and share it with future generations.
